47th Annual Revolutionary War Field Days
November 4 @ 10:00 am - November 5 @ 5:00 pm
Historic Camden’s 47th annual signature event, held the first weekend in November, is Revolutionary War Field Days!
18th century reenactors, demonstrators, and sutlers from across the country gather on Friday to set up both British and Continental camps for one of the oldest Revolutionary War reenactments in the United States.
On Saturday and Sunday, Rev. War Field Days is open to the public from 10am-5pm (ticket purchase required). Visitors are immersed in the past through interaction with hundreds of living-history docents and encounter the sights, smells, and even tastes of 18th century colonial life. Reproduction clothing, goods, and foods, available on Sutler’s Row, campfire cooking competition, colonial games, in-camp demonstrations, craftsmen, a history roundtable discussion, and activities for kids enhance the visitor experience in this unique visit to the past.
An militarily and historically accurate 18th century battle starts at 1:30pm on both Saturday and Sunday, where spectators can feel the thunder of field cannons, hear the crack of flintlock rifles, and smell the gunpowder in an unparalleled sensory treat.
Tickets prices TBD.
Online tickets will be available. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
