Appreciated Securities

Gifts of securities such as stocks, mutual fund shares, or other appreciated assets can be a tax-efficient method for making a gift to the Historic Camden Foundation. In most instances, you can take a tax deduction for the full market value of a gift of securities and avoid any capital gains tax. Please check with your investment advisor or CPA to determine any tax benefits.
